Maryland Marriage License Information:

In most circumstances you may apply for a marriage license at any county clerk's office in the state where you plan to be married. These offices are usually located in the county probate court or circuit court.

In Maryland the fee to receive your license is $55. There is No Waiting Period between applying for your license and receiving your license. In a few states after you receive your license you must wait a short period of time before getting married.

Maryland law allows you to get married 2 Days after officially receiving your marriage license. Maryland marriage licenses expire after 6 Months. If your license expires before you tie the knot, you can reapply for another license.
